CHOC lovers are rushing to buy yet another Aldi dupe – and this time it’s chocolate that tastes “just like Lindt”.

Shoppers can get their hands on the supermarket’s Chocolate Assorted Truffles, which are supposedly a knock-off of Lindt’s famous chocolate balls.

The bargain was posted on Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

The person who posted said: “If you like the famous little red balls, give these a try – just as good if not better for a fraction of the price.”

Aldi’s version costs £2.69 for a 200g bag and is currently in stock online – though do check in your local store too.

You’ll need to pay an extra £4.99 for click & collect.

In comparison, Lindt’s assorted chocolate truffles are £10 on its own website, but for a 600g box.

If you order online, you’ll need to spend a minimum of £20 and delivery costs £4.95 or free for orders over £50.

The cheapest we’ve found Lindt’s Assorted Truffles for is £4 at Asda.

But in Waitrose, shoppers could get the Lindt Assorted Truffles for £6.50 for a 337g box.

Of course, prices can vary in store and online – it’s always worth shopping around to see if you can find the chocolates for cheaper elsewhere.

Aldi has been known to tell cheaper versions of items that we love.

Another chocolate dupe the bargain supermarket unveiled was its £2.99 milk chocolate mountain bar – similar to the famous Toblerone.

Shoppers have also raved about a Laurent Perrier knock-off champagne dupe.

It costs £36 less than the branded version and TikToker Lucy told viewers that the Aldi version is “just as delicious”.

The supermarket doesn’t just sell food-related dupes.

Last month, we revealed that Aldi was selling a White Company candle dupe for £24.99, compared to £95.

But shoppers had mixed reviews.

On one hand, people said it had lived up to their expectations, and that they’d highly recommended it.

Another said that not only does it look amazing, but it also smells great.

Meanwhile, another person who said they used to work for the White Company couldn’t speak more highly of the product.
