SHOPPERS are rushing to buy Aldi and Lidl school uniform which launched in stores today with individual prices as low as £1.50.

Both discount supermarkets have some great deals including uniform bundles for just £5.

The offers launched in both stores today, so you will need to be quick to grab these bargains as they are only until stocks last.

Some parents have already bagged a back-to-school deal.

One shopper who posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group said: “Went to my Aldi today it was like black Friday to grab the school uniform it was mad!”

And another added: “Bought mine today and it cost £35.28! Added up how much it would cost of the same at Asda and it would have been £89.50.”

While someone else commented: “I bought a jumper today and the quality for £1.50 is amazing good quality socks too.”

Aldi back to school offer

Aldi has a uniform bundle for a fiver, which includes a sweatshirt, £1.50, in a choice of red or black, a polo shirt, £1.75, in a choice of white or blue, and trousers or a pleated skirt, £1.75.

The retailer has also locked down their school uniform prices so they are the same as last year, and they have a lowest price guarantee.

Shoppers can view the deal online, but you will need to head to the store to shop the full range.

Lidl back to school

Lidl also has a back-to-school bundle for £5, which includes items from its Smart Start range.

Included in the bundle is a pack of two polo shirts, £1.75, a sweatshirt, £1.50, and school trousers, skirt or shorts, £1.75.

For the second year in a row, the retailer has also frozen the price of its uniforms to keep the bundles at a competitive price.

And with every purchase made on selected uniform items, Lidl will donate 50p to help continue funding NSPCC’s Childline.

As with Aldi you can view the back-to-school offers on Lidl’s website but you will need to visit the store if you want to take advantage of the deals.
