A keen shopper spied the item in their local store and was thrilled at the price.

The punter uploaded photos showing how he nabbed the medium-sized Santa Selection Box for just £1.20.

He revealed that it was also slashed to £1.35 in Morrisons but B&M took the savings one step further.

The shopper then alerted others to the incredible bargain buy by sharing the nifty find on social media.

Posting the find to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK  Facebook group, he said: “I posted these the other day in Morrisons for £1.35, now they’re even cheaper in B&M!

“£1.20! Bargain!”

Viewers were quick to weigh in with their opinions and tag their mates to spread awareness of the top deal.

One warned others: “All those in our store were limited to 10 per person. Just a heads up.”

While a disappointed shopper said: “Didn’t have them in my local B&M.”

Of course, just because this one shopper found the chocolate for so cheap, that doesn’t mean you will.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what bargains they have available so you aren’t left empty handed.

And you should always compare prices with other retailers so you know the best place to save cash.

For example, the same box of chocolates can also be found at Waitrose for nearly double the price at £2.50.

However, Facebook groups such as Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK are a good place to start to find a bargain.

Users on the page regularly post photos of products they have found on the cheap, sometimes including what store they found them in.

It comes as other shoppers have been racing to Tesco to snap up large Squishmallows that have been massively reduced.

Bargain hunters were left stunned when they noticed that the large plush toys had been massively reduced in the epic Black Friday sale at Tesco – but there’s a catch.

The large Squishmallows, which were originally priced at £50, have now been slashed to £35 – but only for those with a Clubcard.

There’s a variety of different super soft, collectible plush toys to choose from, with 12 in total to collect.

And Sainsbury’s have some great deals at the moment too – including the Barbie Wow House for £90, reduced from £200.

Another shopper showed off some of her savvy purchases, like Gabby’s dollhouse, Mamas and Papas nursery play set, Metal Machine gorilla rampage and L.O.L. Surprise! Shine on Salon & Spa with 65+ Surprises.
