TOILET TROUBLE: Ingredients knocking around your kitchen cupboards can be used for tackling toilets, sinks and showerheads.

TikTokker @SpeedyStuff uses white vinegar (Asda sells some for 29p) to remove tough limescale from her loo.

First she drains the bowl, which you can do by scooping out the water with an old jug.

Then she refills it with a mix of white vinegar and water and leaves it overnight. She then scrubs it out.

Or you could use a bottle of Coke like @CinderellasCleaniing. She pours it in, leaves it for ten minutes, then scrubs and flushes, leaving her toilet sparkling.

TAP ’N’ GO: Tackle limescale by spraying a piece of kitchen roll with white vinegar, wrapping it around your taps and leaving for 15 minutes, according to @lynsey_queenofclean.

Mix vinegar and water in a ziplock bag and attach it to your shower head for similar results.

GLASS ACT: TikTokker @Mama_mila_ recommends buffing shaving cream on to mirrors to coat them in a film that prevents fogging up after showers and reduces watermarks.

To remove soap scum and splashes from shower screen, @Angiebatis mixes white vinegar with water, baking soda and washing-up liquid in a spray bottle and covers the area, then uses a cloth or scrubbing brush to banish the marks.

SCRUB UP: A favourite tool among TikTokkers is the Scrub Daddy, which you can pick up from Tesco for £2, down from £2.50 if you have a Clubcard.

It works by helping to make products foam up more.

Pair this with The Pink Stuff bathroom foam cleaner for £1 from Wilko and you’ll be on your way to dazzling bathroom.
