The DIY chain will be open as usual over the bank holiday weekend so you can get on with those nagging repairs that need doing.

What are the Screwfix opening times over the bank holiday?
Screwfix is running its normal hours over the bank holiday.
This means that all stores should be open their usual hours no matter which day you rush out to grab that emergency screwdriver.
For the majority of stores, opening hours are 7am to 8pm on a weekday.
On a Saturday this changes to 7am to 6pm, and on a Sunday stores are open from 9am to 4pm.

Is Screwfix delivering over the Bank Holiday?
Screwfix is continuing to deliver to their stores over the weekend but there are disruptions to home delivery.
The DIY chain’s website says to allow an additional 24 hours for your order to arrive.
If you are collecting from the store, you should wait for a “ready to collect” text before going to pick it up.
If you’re spending over £100 this is a free delivery option but under that and you could pay up to £10 to get your home delivery a day early.
The best bet is to order to collect from the store or pop in and see if they have the stock readily available.

- Monday, August 29 (Summer Bank Holiday)
- Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day)

Due to Christmas falling on a Sunday, we have a substitute day on Tuesday 27, 2022, to enjoy off.
