SAMSUNG has released a brand new app that will change how its phone users message and take calls.
iPhone and Mac have had a feature like this for years – and Microsoft has developed its own too.

But now Samsung has launched something similar – provided you have the right gadgets.
Samsung phone owners can now take calls from their laptop, so they don’t need to grab their handset at all.
A popup notification will appear in the corner of your laptop screen, with buttons to take the call or reject it.
They can also reply to texts in the same way too.

The app is free to download on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
But there’s one snag – the tool only works for one model at the moment.
And that’s Samsung’s own Galaxy Book 4 series, reports SamMobile.com.

But fear not if you don’t have the right laptop, as Microsoft already has its own Windows Phone Link app that allows Android handsets to take calls.
Galaxy Book 4 series
Samsung only just announced the Galaxy Book 4 series a couple of weeks ago, so it’s unlikely most people will be able to use the Samsung Phone app just yet.
The series consists of three devices, the Book4 Ultra, Book4 Pro and Book4 Pro 360.
Samsung says they are “the most intelligent and powerful” Galaxy Book laptops yet.
The trio be available progressively in select markets from January 2024, starting with Korea first.
How to get the Windows Phone Link app
The Windows Phone Link app already allows both Android and iOS users to take and make calls from their Windows laptop instead of their handset.
