SAINSBURY’S has over 600 supermarkets and 800 convenience stores across the UK – and they’ll still be open over the Jubilee Bank Holiday.

The nation is getting Thursday and Friday off work to mark The Queen’s 70 years of service.

What are Sainsbury’s opening times?

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said the “vast majority'” of its supermarkets across England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be open between 7am to 8pm over the Bank Holiday.

Stores in Scotland will be open as normal.

The majority of Sainsbury’s Local stores will be open as normal as well.

But you’ll have to watch out as opening times will vary, so its best to check the supermarket’s store locator.

Is Sainsbury’s delivering over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday and weekend?

Yes. A spokesperson said slots for groceries are released to customers around two weeks in advance.

That means you should have been able to book your delivery slot in for the Bank Holiday already – but if you haven’t done so yet, you could be disappointed.
