A BARGAIN retailer has launched a closing down sale ahead of shutting its doors in the next few weeks.
Home Values in the Queensmere shopping centre in Slough is said to pulling down the shutters before Christmas.

The discounter is hosting a 50% off closing down sale, according to local news reports.
But it’s not all bad news because the shop is said to be reopening in early 2024 after getting a bit of TLC.
Shoppers have shared their disappointment at the closure on social media.
Posting on Facebook one shopper said: “It’s a sad state of affairs what has become of the shopping centre and Slough in general!!”

While another wrote: “Really this town was much better when I was a child.
“It’s sad to see it has become such a dump.”
And a third commented: “This centre is a disaster.
“There is nothing but terrible dirt.”

The shop, which sells homeware and household appliances at discounted prices, is said to be shutting for refurbishment.
It’s reported that the shop will close in the next few weeks, before Christmas but no exact date has been given.
Signs advertising a huge 50% off sale have been plastered all over the shopfront.
The Sun has contacted Queensmere shopping centre for comment on the closure.
It comes after a difficult time in the leisure and retail industry.
Big brand chains have been closing locations across the country, as well as independent stores.
Most recently, Britain’s oldest casino closed for the last time after a 195 years in business.
Pryzm is also said to be shutting one of its 10 sites in the New Year, leaving clubbers devastated.
