Russia launches attacks on at least six cities overnight; Volodymyr Zelenskiy to address US congress as Republicans propose stopgap funding bill without funding for Ukraine
The Russian defence ministery claims to have downed 19 drones over the Black Sea and Crimea regions, and three further drones launched at the Belgorod, Kursk and Oryol regions by Ukraine.
Tass reports in a statement the ministry said “On the night of 20-21 September, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack with aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped.”
