Most streaming devices provide more content to watch on older TVs without improving audio.

One of the exceptions is the Roku Streambar, no on sale at Amazon.

Amazon’s new Roku Streambar deal knocks £30 off, dropping the price to £99.

The deal is the lowest we’ve seen the Streambar for since December, so it represents solid value.

Plus, the Streambar isn’t just a streaming device, thanks to its added audio capabilities.

Older TVs may not have access to streaming services, but audio technology continues to develop too.

That’s why Roku designed the streambar, which can offer all the main streaming services plus four internal speakers.

That means you can watch the likes of Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, NOW TV and BT Sport, while ramping up your sound too.

In fact, the Streambar also offers volume modes to quieten loud adverts, increase voice volume and improve listening at night – alongside support for Full HD, 4K Ultra HD and HDR supported content.

For accessibility, the Streambar works with Alexa and Google Assistant, and the bar itself comes with a voice remote.

The Streambar also acts as a speaker in its own right: it can be connected to by Bluetooth or using Spotify Connect. So, particularly for the new price, you’d be getting lots of functionality.
