Shiny Tapu Koko sends shock waves this week in Pokémon Go

Blitzle evolves into Zebstrika, and this is a great chance for you to grab one.

There is also a chance for Blitzle to be shiny, so it will be a great event for shiny hunters.

You’ll also earn double candy for any Pokémon you transfer during this hour. This means that Blitzle isn’t the only Pokémon that will give improved rewards.

Regirock takes over the raids

Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 6pm local time.

The second Regi to feature in five-star raids, Registeel will take over from Tapu Koko.

During Raid Hour, Registeel will be available in every gym, making it a good time to grab one.

Mega Gengar will change over from Aerodactyl for mega raids.

Rocket Takeover starts in Pokémon Go

The Rocket Takeover will start on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from midnight local time until the end of the week.

Rockets will be more common from Wednesday until Sunday, appearing at both Pokéstops and in balloons.

This will give you more chances to beat the Team Rocket Bosses, who have a wider variety of Shadow Pokémon.

Giovanni is back once more. As always he will lead with his signature Pokémon Persian.

He has three different Pokémon he can send out second before ending in Shadow Registeel.

Ultra Leagues take over the Go Battle League

The Go Battle League will change on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 9pm GMT UK time.

The Great League is going away, and two Ultra Leagues will take its place in the Go Battle League.

This includes Ultra League, and Ultra Premier League both with a maximum CP of 2.5k.

Ultra League will allow any Pokémon below this CP but the Premier version has restrictions.

Legendary and Mythical Pokémon as well as Ultra Beasts are banned from this format.

Noibat takes over Community Day

Community Day will start on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm local time.

Noibat will be the focus of February’s Community Day, with a good chance to evolve one into Noivern.

If you evolve into Noivern around the time of the event it will learn a special charged move, Boomburst.
