As with anything we always advise shopping around to get the best price, and we had a look to see if the price really was “unbeatable”.

While we could not find exact comparisons, B&Q had one very similar described as a Mercia tongue and groove garden bar, priced at £385 online.

The Range also had a wooden shiplap garden bar priced at £549.

The closest we could find in terms of pricing was a Habitat beach bar ad gazebo with stools priced at £400.

So it does appear that at the moment if you are looking to up your summer party game and invest in a garden bar, Robert Dyas could be the best place to start.

Or you could always have a go at making your own, if you have some wooden palettes lying around.

One DIY expert known on social media as “The Pallet Man” made his own and shared his hints and tips with others to TikTok.

Another family went one step further and created a mini pub in their garden, with real taps, tankards and seating.
