A RARE Pokemon card thought to be one of only 45 ever made has gone on sale for £1.25million.
Featuring fantasy creature Pikachu, it was never available in shop-bought packets or intended for use in the trading card game.

Instead it was designed and offered as a prize in a Pokemon art competition in 1997.
The collector’s item, in very good condition, has been authenticated and is being sold online by the Japanese trading card shop Hareruya 2.
Even if you don’t own the card, you might be sitting on a goldmine from your old games.
Hansons Auctioneers owner Charles Hanson said he recently saw a sealed copy of Nintendo Gameboy’s Pokemon Red sell for a whopping £2,800.
And a 1st Edition sealed Pokemon Fossil Set Booster Box, comprising of 36 unopened packs, recently fetched an eye-watering £8,500.
Antiques expert Charlie Ross, who regularly appears on Bargain Hunt and Flog It!, explained: “People often think it’s just vintage items that are worth money, but even stuff from the 1990s could make you a bob or two now.”
The Pokemon franchise is one of the most successful of all time.
The game’s ninth generation title, Scarlet and Violet, released last November.
