A Range Rover previously owned by Queen Elizabeth II has gone on sale.
The 2016 SUV, with the number plate ‘OU16 XVH’, was driven sparingly for Royal duties, covering just 2,586 miles over two years before being sold in the Land Rover dealer network.
The Royal car, which was used to carry US President Barack Obama with the Queen during his 2016 state visit to Windsor Castle, is on sale for £224,850.

Bramley Motor Cars is offering the Range Rover – a SDV8 Autobiography LWB model with the 4.4-litre diesel engine – that was used by the Royal Household in 2016 and 2017.
The Range Rover now shows 18,000 miles on the clock.
The 4X4 was a long-adored favourite of Her Majesty dating back to her military service in WW2 when she was a trained mechanic and likely worked on Land Rover Series I models of the era.
During Obama’s state visit, Prince Philip also drove the late Queen, the US President and his wife Michelle Obama to Windsor Castle.

The Guilford car dealer’s listing says: ‘Car-Bramley are once again delighted to be able to offer for sale an ex-Royal Household car with a fabulous history.
‘OU16 XVH was first registered on the 1st of March 2016 to Jaguar Land Rover Ltd, at their International Fleet Department, as so many vehicles are.
‘It was prepared by the Land Rover Workshop at Gaydon and would have been equipped with covert lighting and police emergency lighting, along with specially adapted fixed side steps – which are not available for general sale as they have not been homologated and additional grab handles to the rear passenger compartment to enable Her Majesty The Queen to be able to access the rear passenger compartment more comfortably.
‘The rear entertainment screens were also removed prior to the car being handed over to the Royal Household and were refitted once the vehicle had been removed from service.

‘These items have since been removed following the vehicle being taken out of Royal Service, but the grab handles used by Her Majesty were left with the car, a lovely touch.
‘The warning sticker for the siren, which was located in the engine compartment also remains, as a hint to this Range Rover’s previous life.
‘Whilst in service with the Royal Household, it received two services by JLR, as opposed to the Land Rover dealer network, the first being its PDI on the 05/03/2016 at 26 miles, followed by a 12-month service on the 18/05/2017 at 2,413 miles.
‘This particular example covered a very low mileage and had covered only 2,586 miles when it was sold through the Land Rover Dealer Network under the Land Rover Approved scheme.
‘This vehicle made a very high-profile appearance during President Obama’s state visit to the United Kingdom in 2016.
