Poundtoy launches huge sale including Paw Patrol and LOL Surprise! – and prices start at 1p

POUNDTOY has launched a huge spring clearance sale on toys including LOL Surprise!, Disney and Paw Patrol – with prices starting at just 1p.

Shoppers can also claim a further 50% off clearance items – as long as your basket is worth more than 2p – with the code SPRINGCLEAN50.

This means if you were to add four items reduced to 1p each to your basket and applied the code, you would only pay 2p.

However, shoppers are limited to adding only one of each 1p toy to their basket to stop customers snapping up all the stock in one go.

Despite the low prices, it is always a good idea to shop around to make sure you are getting the best deal.

And remember, it isn’t a saving unless you were planning to make the purchase anyway.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.

Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

As Poundtoy doesn’t have any physical stores the sale is just online.

Delivery is free on orders over £25. If your order doesn’t reach that limit it will cost £3.45 – so remember to factor that into the overall price.

Poundtoy said there is limited availability and products will not be restocked – however new items are expected to be added to the clearance.
