Shoppers can also browse a streamlined selection of just 33 tech items, which they can buy online.

Poundland‘s prices start from just £2 for mobile selfie lights, phone cases, USB plugs and power banks. In stores, you can also get power cables for the same bargain price.

The most expensive item on the online website is a premium smart watch that costs just £15. There’s also a fitness tracker for £10.

There are loads of different headphones available, including cheap mini ones for £3, premium over-ear headphones for £6 and wireless over-ear options for £8.

Wireless earbuds are also available in-store only, costing just £10.

Speakers also feature heavily in the range, with a kid’s portable Bluetooth speaker (£8), a wireless speaker (£5), and a wireless sound bar (£8) all on the online website.

There are even affordable keyboards priced at £10 for a key and mouse set and £12 for an ultra-slim version.

The Viido website had previously been put up online, but without Poundland taking the credit.

Now, the discounter has revealed it is behind the exciting new electronics brand,, which already has three products approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Viido will also be the electronics brand for sister company Dealz in Ireland, Spain and Poland.

Among the early fans is online tech instagrammer and YouTuber Gadgetsboy, who has reviewed the Viido headphones, Bluetooth speakers, wireless earbuds and the wireless charging pad in an online video.

While shoppers can buy a limited selection of Viido gadgets online, you’ll have to head to a store to access the full range.

There are over 800 Poundland shops across the UK and you can find your nearest one here.

The discounter is opening seven new stores and revamping 55 in time for Christmas – see the full list.

Poundland has also launched its first-ever national TV advertising campaign to promote its revamped ranges to shoppers.

This includes the new tech items, but also the discounter’s PEP&CO clothing and homeware ranges and the shift to selling fresh and frozen food.
