POSH people’s store Fortnum & Mason is flogging tomato ketchup for a whopping £7 a bottle.
The royal grocer is selling a tiny 250ml bottle of the meal time favourite for £6.95 – or £2.78 per 100 ml.

In comparison, Asda sells a 550g bottle for just 75p – or £13.6 per 100g.
Millilitres and grams are the same equivalents.
A 250g container of Heinz Tomato Ketchup costs £1.75 or 70p per 100g.
The London shop tells would-be buyers: “Made for breakfast banquets, endless lunches and midnight snacks alike.
“Fortnum’s Tomato Sauce, or Ketchup if you prefer, will make any meal a ready feast.”
And diners can slather it on the store’s takeaway steak and chips which costs £50.
The shop is offering two ribeye steaks, a handful of chunky chips and a bottle of red by post for the monster sum.
Most supermarkets do a ribeye steak for a fiver.

But the famous London store reckons their slabs of beef and fancy fries are a cut above rest.
And they’ll bundle up the pricey grub in a bag for life.
Diners are told: “All wrapped up in Fortnum’s Plastic-Free Bag for Life and ready for a delicious gourmet feast, The Fortnum’s Steak & Chips Bag is the perfect dinnertime decadence.
“Inside you will find two Glenarm Salt-Aged Delmonico Ribeye Steaks, exclusive to Fortnum’s, and a portion of triple-cooked chunky chips.
“Hand-selected from the Glenarm Estate in Northern Ireland, the ribeye has been dry-aged for between 28 and 42 days in the chamber, which is made from more than 1000 hand-cut bricks of salt.
“This chamber purifies the air and concentrates the flavour of the meat, producing an incomparable piece of beef.
“No dinner would be complete without a bottle, so we’ve included our Fortnum’s Rosso Piceno – a seductive red with notes of vanilla and soft ripe cherry fruit on the palate. Let’s dig in!”
