Pornhub reveals searches for ‘Turkish’ surged while Ekin-Su was on Love Island – what was top in your area?

PORNHUB has revealed that randy Brits went wild searching “Turkish” on the site during this year’s Love Island.

The popular XXX site saw a massive spike in searches mid-July just as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu rose to fame – and eventually won the hit ITV2 reality show with Davide Sanclimenti.

Ekin Su – who hails from Turkey – has even starred in a Turkish soap opera before her time on Love Island.

Searches for Turkish porn on the site began to climb from mid-June, just as the influencer arrived at the villa alongside Afia Tonkmor.

By July 13, naughty users caused the term “Turkish” to peak, with its popularity doubled compared to early April.

Data suggests requests for Turkish porn exploded at 100 percent more compared to the average day.

Turkish porn became the most sought after kink in Greater London too, versus the rest of the UK.

Pornhub Insights data has also exposed a number of surprising regional trends across the UK, with chubby, chav and mature among the most popular.

Northern Ireland likes mature more than any other region and those in the North East are into chav porn.

Chubby is popular in the North West, while ASMR – commonly known as “whisper porn” – is the go-to in Wales.

Last year, Hentai porn was the site’s most searched term globally, ranking number three in the UK and number one in the US.

The word is used to describe adult anime and manga materials, of which hundreds of thousands are hosted on the platform.

Brits also helped push the UK up in Pornhub’s ranking for 2021, overtaking Japan to become the site’s second biggest visitor by country – though the US remains number one.

The average user from the UK spends about 9 minutes and 52 seconds on Pornhub, compared to 9 minutes and 44 seconds stateside.
