Seven people have fallen ill after consuming a variety of food and drink from one of the kitchens at Darmstadt’s Technical University in Germany, in what police suspect may have been an attempted poisoning.
Several students and members of staff experienced nausea and some watched their arms or legs turn blue after using a small kitchen and a drinks machine at the university’s Institute for Material Sciences on Monday, Hesse state police reported.
