Family of 18 year old critically injured in A90 crash was told by officers he had been killed

Police have apologised to the family of a teenager after they were wrongly told he had died in a crash.

The 18 year old was critically injured in the crash on the A90 near Crimond in Aberdeenshire on Monday, but his family were told he had been killed.
