Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall aided appeal for Fisher, whose Nissan Navara was last seen in Dorchester, say police

Police have found a body in the search for missing journalist and award-winning scriptwriter Nick Fisher after he went missing near his Dorset home on Tuesday.

Fisher, whose books included Sea Fishing: River Cottage Handbook, with an introduction by celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, had last been seen in his home village of Hooke in west Dorset on Tuesday.
