POKÉMON is celebrating the holiday season by giving us a winter-themed raid.

The tough seven-star raid is usually beatable with the right set, but unfortunately, this one suffers from numerous bugs.

Despite the bugs it is possible to take it down.

Iron Bundle is available in raids from Friday, December 22, 2023, until Sunday, December 24, 2023.

What makes this one tougher than usual to take down is how there are numerous issues.

In one raid, some of our Pokémon data was deleted. The ability, nature, EVs, and tera-type of our Pokémon were reverted to their original state.

However, the items used to change these stats had still been used, losing us 50x tera shards, 50x vitamins, and an Ability Patch.

Here is the set for Iron Bundle:

Iron Bundle the Unrivalled – Level 100

  • Nature – Modest
  • Ability – Quark Drive
  • Item – None
  • Tera type – Ice
  • Moves – Snowscape, Aurora Veil, Electric Terrain, Chilling Water, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Freeze-Dry

Owing to the number of bugs apparent in the raids, there appear to be only a few ways to take it down.

Only a few Pokémon have the Special Defense to not get knocked out by Iron Bundle, and few types resist all of its attacks.

Here is the counter we found:

Empoleon – Level 100

  • Nature – Calm
  • Ability – Torrent / Competitive
  • Item – Assault Vest
  • Tera type – Steel
  • Moves – Brick Break, Ice Spinner, Mud-Slap, Flash Cannon
Empoleon is the only Pokémon we found which can do the job.

Usually, we would recommend Competitive here, but there is a bug in this raid that prevents it from working.

This means it doesn’t matter which ability you use, as it won’t affect anything.

You should open the raid with Brick Break to erase the Aurora Veil which will severely reduce damage output.

We tried various accuracy-reducing moves, and Mud-Slap was the most consistent, but this also appears to be bugged.

Items like Bright Powder don’t seem to work in this raid, so Mud-Slap may be the only way to prevent big hits.

Assault Vest does work, and it will help you survive against these big attacks.

Your main source of damage here is Flash Cannon which has the secondary effect that it can drop Special Defense.

Ice Spinner is the last move on this set, just to remove the Electric Terrain when it sets it up.

While bugs have definitely made this raid harder, it is possible with Empoleon, but we have tested various other Pokémon that should work but don’t appear to.
