The release was posted on Facebook group New Foods UK, a group where foodie Brits post about new snacks on the market – as well as returning fan-favourites and sales.

The post read: “New Cadbury Dairy Milk Half & Half Ultimate Easter Egg spotted at Sainsbury’s.”

Lip-licking chocolate fans flocked to rave about the seasonal find.

“I need this for Easter haha,” one user said.

A second weighed in: “Omg I would love one of them.”

A third quipped: “Great egg for indecisive people.”

The Easter treat includes one half of hollow milk chocolate and the other white chocolate with a bag bag of assortment of milk chocolates and white chocolates thrown in.

Cadbury have been busy over the last few months, with all sorts of releases landing in shops for their loyal customers.

Earlier this year the cocoa company dropped a new flavour of Mini Eggs that prompted shoppers to say they will “need a bigger trolley” after spotting the snack on store shelves.

And, an old favourite was welcomed back to supermarkets as Cadbury ‘re-launched’ their CaraMilk bars – but in the shape of an Easter egg.

Another mini egg related treat wowing shoppers is the classic Cadbury Mini Egg Twin Pot Dessert.

Usually only available in the Easter season, the scrumptious snack makes the perfect treat for mini egg lovers with the addition of the crisp, sugar-shelled chocolate drops.

With a milk chocolate pudding inside, the 75g pot encourages mixing the delicate eggs into the mousse to create a dreamy dessert.

Despite the raving reviews on new chocolate for 2024 some have been left confused why Easter treats are already being released so far away from the big event.

With Easter still being three months away, super organised stores are already flogging Easter eggs.
