PEOPLE are only just realising McDonald’s has made a big change to prices – but not everyone is so keen.
The fast food giant launched its Saver Meal Deal yesterday with prices starting from £3.99.

Fans can get a cheeseburger, fries and drink or a mayo chicken, fries and drink for £3.99.
Meanwhile, customers can pick up a double cheeseburger, fries and drink for £4.79.
The offer is available from 11am every day nationwide.
But some people are only just realising Maccie’s has launched the new meal deal.
Posting photos of the deals on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one fan said: “Not sure if this will help.
“McDonald’s are now doing the following saver meals.”
The post has racked up over 1,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with some saying they’re keen to bag one of the new meal deals.
One person said: “Finally a double cheeseburger meal,” while another added: “How do these exist when I spent £9 on a meal today wtf.”

That said, not all Maccie’s fans are so keen on the fast food chain’s latest offer.
One said: “I’m getting old, I remember extra value meals costing £3.29 for a medium. Good times.”
Another claimed the £3.99 chicken mayo meal deal doesn’t actually save them money.
They said: “I think some mcds have different prices but where I am = Mayo Chicken £1.29, med fries £1.49 and med drink £1.19 which actually works out 2p less than the saver meal price of £3.99.”
The Sun approached McDonald’s for a comment.
It comes after Maccie’s revealed in February it was trialling the savers menu at around 120 restaurants across the South East between February and May.
At the time, the fast-food chain said consumers opting for the cheeseburger and mayo chicken burgers with a side and drink options would save 18p.
However, it didn’t say how much the double cheeseburger option would save people.
Prices vary between branches too so you might not always make an 18p saving on the first two options.
The fast food chain has also added six new items to its menu, including a Biscoff McFlurry and Chicken Caesar Wrap.
The Sun even got to try the new McFlurry before it hit restaurants.
How to save on your McDonald’s order
There’s a few tips you’ll want to use if you’re looking to save money on your next Maccie’s trip.
Firstly, it’s worth choosing your branch carefully – menu prices can often vary across different restaurants just a couple of miles apart.
For example, we’ve seen Big Mac meals up to 30p cheaper before.
It might not sound a lot, but if you’re a regular at the fast food chain, added up over the course of a year it could save you a decent amount of cash.
You can also get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app, although you have to log your date of birth first.
Meanwhile, you can nab a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well by filling out a quick survey.
All you’ll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.
A 12-digit code will be printed on the proof of purchase and then you can enter the McDonald’s Food for Thought website to fill out a quick survey.
