YOUR iPhone is packed with powerful Siri commands – and it’s unlikely that you know them all.

Mastering Siri can make your life significantly easier.

But knowing where to start can be difficult.

To help, The U.S. Sun has picked out three little-known iPhone hacks that take advantage of Siri.

For these tricks to work, you’ll need to make sure your iPhone is listening for “Hey Siri”.

So before you need them, go to Settings > Siri & Search and enable Listen for Hey Siri – as well as Allow Siri When Locked, for the easiest experience.

Parked car

Simply say “Hey Siri, remember where I parked my car”.

This will drop a pin on Apple Maps in your location.

Than when you need to find it again, say “Hey Siri, where’s my car.”

This will pull up the location in Maps.

You could also go to the Apple Maps app directly and simply look for the pin.

Or you could go on Apple Maps and search for “parked car”.

Once you’ve got the map pin up, you can use Apple Maps to navigate directly to the parking spot.

Quiet mornings

You’ve probably had the experience of being kept awake by someone’s iPhone alarm going off.

It’s particularly annoying when the other person is sleeping through their alarm – or perhaps isn’t even home at all.

But with a bit of planning, it’s possible to fix this problem completely.

You won’t even need to get out of bed.

Apple has designed it so that other members of your family can turn off your alarm with a simple Siri voice command.

All you need to do is make sure that your devices are set up properly as a family household.

The first step is to create a Family Sharing network with your iPhone devices.

Go to the Settings app then tap your name.

Next choose Family Sharing, then tap Set Up Your Family.

This will allow you to invite other family members to your virtual Apple household.

You’ll also need to ensure that “Hey Siri” is turned on for iPhones in the household.

Just go into Settings > Siri & Search and toggle Listen for Hey Siri on.

And lastly, you’ll need to ensure that all devices in the household are running on the same Wi-Fi network.

Once that’s done, you can simply say “Hey Siri, stop” to your own iPhone when you hear another iPhone’s alarm going off in your house.

Lost light

If you’re constantly losing your cell, it’s an essential Apple hack.

Instead of turning on all of the lights and scrambling for your iPhone, try a different trick.

You can simply ask Siri to turn on your phone’s flashlight.

This will instantly show you where your iPhone is – as long as it’s nearby.

Simply say “Hey Siri, turn my flashlight on.”

If you can’t see the iPhone after you’ve tried the trick, then you’ll need to try a different tactic.

Apple Watch owners can go into the quick menu and tap the buzzing-phone icon to make the iPhone ring.

And if you’re really stuck, try logging on to iCloud or using Find My on another Apple device to make sure your iPhone is actually with you.
