Have you ever been taking an iPhone video and wished you could snap photos at the same time?

Well you can! There’s an iPhone hack that lets you do just that.

You’ve probably never noticed the button that lets you do it.

It means that you can take a normal video while capturing photos for your camera roll.

The only catch is that you may notice quality differences versus when you take a regular photo.

To do it, first open your Camera app and begin recording a video.

You’ll notice that a white shutter button appears in the bottom corner of the screen.

Simply tap that to take photos while you’re recording video.

You can also pinch the screen to zoom in and out.

And if you want a more precise zoom, some Apple iPhone models allow you to touch and hold the 1x icon and drag the slider to the left.

Once you’re done with the video, simply tap the record button again.

Now when you go to the camera roll, you should see your video alongside any photos that you snapped while recording.

Go pro!

It’s also possible to adjust the quality and frame-rate of your videos in the Settings app.

Simply go to Settings > Camera > Record Video.

There you’ll be able to choose from a range of settings for video recording.

They’ll differ depending on the model of iPhone you’ve got.

On the latest iPhone 14 Pro Max, you’ll see as many as six different video recording options.

This ranges from 720p HD at 30 frames per second right up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
