PARENTS are racing to Asda for branded nappies scanning in at half price. 

Pampers’ Premium Protection nappies are down to £6 a pack from £12 – with some sizes working out as cheap as 16p per nappy.

The deal was shared in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK. 

One eagle-eyed shopper noticed that the nappies were shelved with £12 tags in her local Asda but were actually scanning in for half price.

“These are actually scanning in at £6 instead of the £12 they’re being advertised for,” Hayley Dilly said.

“Works out at about 21p per nappy for size 6, 19p for size 5 and 16p for size 4. 

“Cheaper than the other packs of Pampers Active Fit on the shelf here.”

There are 28 nappies in a size 6 pack, 32 in size 5 and 37 in size 4.

Pampers has also been offering parents with newborns the chance to get a free pack of nappies to help with the cost of living.

The rule has been that parents can get one free pack if you sign up to Pampers through its website.
