‘OMG this is a must!’ cry B&M shoppers rushing to buy ‘the ultimate’ Cadbury Easter egg

B&M shoppers are rushing to buy “the ultimate” Cadbury Easter egg described as a “serious contender” by chocoholics.

The popular discounter is selling the Cadbury marble ultimate Easter egg and it’s cheaper than in Tesco.

The Cadbury favourite is made from creamy marbled Cadbury dairy milk and white chocolate and comes with a bag of individually wrapped chocolate chunks.

B&M posted the Easter treat to its Facebook page and fans rushed to comment on the popular chocolate egg.

The post read: “This is the Easter egg we’d like this year and we know you’ll all love it too.

“It’s a decadent dairy milk and white chocolate mixture – it’s called the ultimate egg for a good reason and it’s a tenner.

One fan commented: “I don’t often want an egg but I do this year.”

Another added: “OMG this is a must.”

While a third said: “Yes please, I need this!”

All of the supermarket shelves are stacked with Easter eggs at the moment, so we had a look to see which other retailers stock this one, and how the price compares.

Tesco and Sainsbury’s have the Cadbury marbled ultimate Easter egg, but it is slightly more expensive than B&M at £12.

Ocado and Asda also have the egg showing online for the same £10 offer as B&M.

Bear in mind that prices can change daily and it is best to shop around to make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.

You can use price comparison sites such as Trolley.co.uk and Google Shopping to check prices across different retailers.

The closer it gets to Easter the more likely it is that we will start to see “price wars” on Easter treats, so keep your eyes peeled.

Remember that you can also get different deals in-store sometimes than what can be found online.

One major supermarket has slashed the price of its large Easter eggs and shoppers have been rushing to stock up.

Meanwhile, one popular Mars chocolate bar has been axed from the Easter lineup this year and fans are devastated.

The dark chocolate Bounty was discontinued last year in a blow to fans of the chocolate treat, although at the time Mars said it was just a temporary measure.

However bereft Bounty fans have been dealt a second blow as it has been revealed that the favourite will not be included in the Easter Bounty chocolate egg box. 

The Bounty chocolate egg box usually holds a hollow milk chocolate egg speckled with desiccated coconut and two fun-size Bounty bars, one of which used to be a dark chocolate Bounty bar.

However, this year a smaller 207g chocolate box will hold a hollow milk chocolate egg and two milk chocolate fun-size Bounty bars instead.
