The Food Warehouse has brought back its fast-selling hot tub – and it’s almost £100 cheaper than Aldi’s version.

Iceland brand The Food Warehouse is selling its popular hot tubs for £300, but shoppers will need to be quick – last year, they sold out in 10 days.

The tub comes with 140 air jets and heats up to 40C.

It fits four adults, making it the perfect spot to relax in the hot sun.

You’ll need to visit your local store to pick one up. But don’t worry, it only takes five minutes to set up.

Over at Aldi, a similar version of the tub costs just under £400, plus a delivery charge of £9.95.

B&Q also sells a four-person tub for £380 – it’s £80 more and has just 120 jets.

Asda has a Lay-Z-Spa tub for £320 – it’s £20 more expensive, but down from its original price of £400.

Of course, it’s always important to shop around to get the best deals.

How much does it cost to run a hot tub?

It’s not just the upfront cost you want to consider with a hot tub either.

Make sure you know how much it costs to run the device before splashing the cash.

You’ll want to keep an eye on those energy bills – hot tubs can drive them sky high if you’re not careful.

Energy experts at Loop say the cheaper models are often less energy efficient – potentially packing an extra £300 onto your bills.

Steve Buckley, head of data science at Loop, warned that even the most energy efficient tubs could add £60 to your monthly energy bill.

He said: “Many of us will be enjoying the warm weather this weekend, and for those lucky enough to own one, relaxing in a hot tub is welcome treat on a sunny day.

“But with the high cost of living at the moment, people should be aware that the cost of running one of these could be a lot more than they were expecting.”
