FOR KIDS: A £6.99 egg shaped like an ice cream cone and a realistic-looking giant dinosaur egg for £10.99 are the stars of Aldi’s range.
But the Dairyfine white chocolate unicorn will also go down well — and it’s just 85p. Meanwhile, Lidl has sweet-filled Paw Patrol eggs for £1.99.
FOR LUXURY LOVERS: Hop down to Tesco with your Clubcard. A selection of huge eggs have been slashed from £12 to £9 or £10 to £8, including the large Lindt Bunny gold egg, now £8.
The Sainsbury’s £9 white and blonde chocolate marble egg is a masterpiece, but you could also get Lidl’s Valencian orange copper egg for £5.99. Get creative with Crayola’s Kinnerton decorate-your-own egg, which comes with tubes of icing, for £5 at Sainsbury’s. Those with less of a sweet tooth could try Lidl’s sophisticated dark chocolate and coffee egg, for £3.99.
