However, VIP Next members can only access the sale at the moment.

They will have been invited to sign up for the sale and given an exclusive 45 minute shopping slot from today.

The sale will end online for VIP members at 11:59pm on Friday March 24, according to an email seen by The Sun.

Prices can be slashed by up to 50% – so it’s no wonder shoppers go crazy for it.

The Sun has asked Next when the sale will launch online for non-VIP members and for confirmation on when it’ll launch in store and will update the piece once we know more.

If you’re planning on waiting until the sale launches in store, you can find your nearest branch using the Next store locator.

Note that each store may have different opening hours, so it’s best to check with your local branch before going.

But usually on the day of Next sales, some stores open as early as 6am meaning eager shoppers can be queuing outside in the early hours of the morning.

The news comes as one smart shopper discovered that Next was secretly hinting about the sale on items in store.

The mum said she had spotted a dress for her daughter whilst browsing in next and decided she wanted to buy it.

She said: “I saw this little dress for my daughter and I was like oh how much is that £24.”

But then the savvy shopper turned the label around and spotted different price on the back.

She said: “Oh what’s on the other side and then it said £12.50.”

The Next fan realised the numbers on the back of the label indicated the price of the dress would be going down once the next sale started.

How can I get a Next VIP slot?

To receive a VIP Sale invite you will need to have successfully opened a nextpay credit account ahead of any event.

So it’s too late to become a VIP for this event, but you can always sign up ahead of the next one.

Be careful when taking out a store card though.

Interest rates can be very high, so you need to make sure you can pay them off in full each month.

Otherwise, the amount paid in interest will counteract the savings you make in the sale.

Other requirements to become a Next VIP include:

  • Having a Next flexible credit account with at least £250 credit available
  • Placing and keeping an order from the Next Directory within the last year
  • Having an up to date email address registered with Next, and being registered to receive sale and promotional emails
  • Receiving a copy of the Next Directory
  • Returning less than two thirds of the items ordered

All VIP sale slots are granted on a first come, first served basis, and they’re restricted to one per customer.
