NETFLIX has launched a series of video games hidden inside the app.

The TV streaming giant already has five titles – with a sixth on the way.

It’s part of Netflix’s push into interactive content.

Some of the games were already available on Android, but they’re now out on iPhone too.

Two games in the line-up are inspired by Stranger Things.

There’s also a new title coming up based on League of Legends – a hugely popular PC game.

The games are expected to appear in the app today, November 10.

“Netflix Games is coming to iOS,” Netflix explained in a tweet.

“Starting tomorrow, you can access Netflix Games through the Netflix app on any mobile device, anywhere in the world.”

The games will appear in your main list of content.

To unlock the list, make sure you update your Netflix app today.

An example shown by Netflix placed it down the list, between Trending Now and Watch It Again.

So you’ll have to scroll past the featured slot, Popular on Netflix, Continue Watching and Trending Now to find it.

On iPhone, you’ll be able to scroll to the right to check out the selection of titles.

Better yet, you don’t have to pay extra for the games currently.

And there aren’t any advertisements to worry about.

“No ads, extra fees, or in-app purchases,” Netflix said.

“Unlimited access to exclusive games, included in your membership.”

Here’s the list of five games at launch:

  • Stranger Things: 1984
  • Stranger Things 3: The Game
  • Shooting Hoops
  • Teeter (Up)
  • Card Blast

There’s also a brand new game called Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story.

This is inspired by the League of Legends PC game, but is actually a rhythm action game rather than a multiplayer online battle arena.

It’s also a coup for Netflix subscribers, as the game is totally free – but costs $10 on PC or Nintendo Switch.

If you can’t find the new games hidden in your feed, be sure to update your app on the Apple App Store.

The new games are expected to roll out today.
