Senior winners’ adviser at Camelot, Andy Carter, said the win comes after another player scooped £20 million in the Jubilee-themed draw during the bank holiday weekend earlier this month.

He said: “What amazing news, one ticket-holder has won tonight’s fabulous £7.4 million Lotto jackpot.

“This is the second big win this month after one very lucky winner scooped the massive £20 million ‘Must Be Won’ Jubilee jackpot from the draw on June 4.

“Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim this amazing prize.”

No-one matched five of the six balls plus the bonus to scoop the second prize of £1 million, but 63 players matched five out of six without the bonus to claim £1,750 each.

The winning Lotto numbers were 11, 14, 36, 39, 42, 59 – and the bonus number was 21.

Set of balls four and draw machine Merlin were used.

No-one secured the top prize in the Lotto HotPicks draw, which uses the same numbers as the main Lotto draw.

Meanwhile, the winning Thunderball numbers were 08, 13, 21, 31, 35 – and the Thunderball was 02.

Two tickets matched all five balls plus the Thunderball to win £500,000 each.
