A NASA astronaut won’t be left behind on the International Space Station, according to official reports.
A Russian state-controlled news network was accused of suggesting astronaut Vande Hei would be left behind when a rocket leaves for Earth later this month.

The infamous video clip caused concern on social media.
The bizarre video shows three Russian cosmonauts saying goodbye to the ISS and leaving without Hei.
The three cosmonauts and Nasa’s Hei were all scheduled to return to Earth together on a Russian rocket.
Russia’s space agency Roscosmos has now cleared up any confusion.
A Roscosmos statement reads: “US astronaut Mark Vande Hei will travel back home in the Saoyuz MS-19 spacecraft together with Russia’s Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov on March 30.
“Roscosmos has never let anybody doubt its reliability as a partner.”
The controversial video can be interpreted in many ways and doesn’t actually state that Hei would be left behind.
However, many people interpreted it this way.

The ISS is divided into two sections.
One is operated by Russian cosmonauts and the other is operated by the US along with other nations.
Both sides of the ISS rely on each other to survive so it’s important that all the astronauts get along.
Astronauts are even known to recycle urine from the Russian side of the ISS so there is more water to drink up there.
Nasa astronaut Steve Swanson previously spoke out about how he would drink recycled Russian urine on the International Space Station back in 2014.
He told CNN: “We actually recycle the cosmonauts’ urine to get more water for our side to drink.
“Now that’s transcending politics. It’s survival.”
