The Northern Irish TikToker looks frustrated as she takes her followers on a tour of some badly thought out aspects of the newly built apartment.

However, Jessica caveats her complaints with the statement: “there’s lots of AMAZING things too, but thought it would be funny to show some silly things”.

It begins with “3 ‘dumb’ things about my new build home…’ and goes onto reveal an oddly sized space built between the wall and the door, where little could fit.

She writes: “This random space in a bedroom that’s too small for anything”.

The then heads off into the bathroom to show some interestingly designed features.

“The shower door hitting the toilet when it’s opened,” she captions the clip.

Lastly, she points out how her sink drawers are strangely positioned right next to the toilet so that they hit her legs when she’s on it.

“The toilet being right soooo close to the vanity,” she complains, as the bad design is easily revealed.

However, she appears to still find the humour in it all too.

Jessica, whose describes her TikTok as “relatable mum content”, has over 35k followers – many of whom flocked to the comment section of her to discuss the slight flaws in her new home.

“Men when I build my houses on sims,” joked one.

“There’s always something that’s a bit off and doesn’t make sense,” another said.

A third offered: “MY BATHROOM IS LIKE THAT TOO!! WHY?! Who thought that was a good layout”.

Elsewhere, homeowners have told of their nightmare newbuild, where they claim they were forced to shower with bottled water for a week after their water supply was contaminated.

Some 134 homes in in HartlepoolTeesside have been been running on a temporary water system for five months.

In more positive news, a savvy pair of brothers flipped a mouldy newbuild home and managed to make a serious profit.

The Fontaines have shown off on TikTok how they scrubbed and refreshed a disgusting house they snapped up as they now rub their hands together for a sell-on windfall.
