Police take two armed people into custody after shooting near Union Station as condition of victims unclear

Multiple people were struck by gunfire in Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday during a Super Bowl victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs football team, police said.

The condition of the victims was not immediately clear. Two armed people were taken into custody, police said. The Kansas City fire department confirmed that a shooting had occurred close to Union Station in the city and referred to a “fluid situation”, according to local media reports.
