M&S has unveiled a Mother’s Day dine-in for four offer costing just £5 a head.

The posh retailer is offering shoppers one main and three sides for £20 to treat your loved one this year.

The deal is available to buy from all UK stores until March 10 apart from in franchises or in Guernsey.

Foodies can snap up five Sunday roast mains including roast chicken, a pork crackling joint and rump of beef.

There’s also a stuffed Scottish salmon and slow-cooked beef joint to choose from.

Shoppers can also pick up seven sides including pigs in blankets, a cheesy green vegetable bake and emperor carrots with red onion.

Plus there’s beef dripping Yorkshire puddings, beef dripping roast potatoes, smashed potatoes with salsa verde and spring greens, cavolo nero and peas.

The roast chicken comes with a stock sachet to pour over the top, as well as butter and thyme for extra flavour.

The pork joints comes with crackling on top, finished with a pork jus, while the salmon is cooked alongside leeks, cheddar cheese, mascarpone and Italian hard cheese.

The slow-cooked beef is topped with a rich beef gravy and the rump of beef comes marinated in stock with a roast beef and herb butter.

Meanwhile, the emperor carrots can be coated in a lemon and herb butter, while the smashed potatoes are served with a herby salsa verde drizzle.

The pigs in blankets are wrapped in oak smoked streaky bacon while the green vegetable bake comes with garlic breadcrumbs and crispy onions and a cheesy sauce.

Anyone keen on the spring greens can top it off with a wild garlic and mint butter.

It comes after M&S launched a Mother’s Day tea offer for £10 across more than 100 cafes.

It’s available for just £10 per person, or £20 for two, and comes with a selection of sandwiches, scones with Cornish clotted cream, macaroons and more.

Anyone wanting to spice up the meal can add a mini bottle of prosecco, or non-alcoholic prosecco, for an extra £5.

Aldi has also slashed the price of its booze ahead of Mother’s Day, with prices starting from just £3.99.

How do we celebrate Mother’s Day?

IN the UK Mother’s Day is celebrated in a wide range of different ways.

Families with young children may encourage little ones to make breakfast in bed for their mum as a token of appreciation, or they may make Mother’s Day cards at school.

Afternoon tea is a traditionally British way of celebrating Mother’s day, other families may opt to take their mum out for dinner, go to the cinema, or simply go for a walk.
