M&S cafe has revealed its new summer menu and one fun addition has Percy Pig fans delighted.

It is the retailers biggest ever menu update with dishes that “are as foodie as the M&S Foodhall” and includes the exciting launch of the new Percy Pig frappe.

The UK will see bigger breakfasts, brilliant brunches, feel good favourite lunches and afternoon tea extended to even more cafes following successful menu trials earlier this year.

But the news that has everyone talking is the launch of the new Percy Pig frappe.

The limited edition summer treat is made with berries, vanilla, Percy Pig sprinkles and topped with a Percy Piglet, it costs £3.75 and contains 205 calories.

And fans of the cheeky M&S icon have taken to social media to share their excitement about the new addition to the Percy family.

One said: “Take my money! all of it.”

While another exclaimed: “ALL MY DREAMS.”

To which the official Percy Pig replied: “They’ve all come true.”

Many people were quick to tag their friends in the Instagram post on the official Percy Pig account with one saying: “Saw this and thought of you!”

The Percy Pig frappe is only around for the summer so don’t delay if you want to get your hands on one.

Other summer drinks additions include a refreshing wild strawberry lemonade (£3.00), mango and coconut smoothie (£3.75) and iced coffee lattes (£3.15).

Coffee lovers will be pleased to know there is a new limited edition summer single origin coffee with flavour notes of jam, citrus and honey that makes the perfect pairing with iced coffee.

Also on the new menu are some tasty breakfast options, scrumptious brunch choices and some lovely summer lunches.

The big breakfast and the big veggie breakfast both priced at £8.95 will now be available in over 60 cafes.

The traditional breakfast has smoked streaky bacon, sausages, soft poached free-range eggs, potato and onion rosti, portobello mushrooms, baked beans and sourdough toast (788cals).

While the veggie breakfast replaces the bacon and sausages with smashed avocado and halloumi (692cals).

Brunch items on the menu include the all day breakfast wrap priced at £5.75 (cals tbc) and eggs benedict that costs £8.00 (630cals), both items are now available in over 270 cafes.

Lunch options such as wholetail scampi & fries priced at £8.00 (741cals), mac and cheese priced at £8.00(938cals) and the mature cheddar & caramelised shallot quiche priced at £7.00 (678cals) will now be served in more than 170 of the retailers cafe outlets.

Afternoon tea will now be available from 2pm in more than 270 cafes and is priced at £10.

The indulgent afternoon tea treat includes a luxury sandwich selection, all butter scone, Cornish clotted cream, fresh strawberries, mini chocolate cupcake topped with buttercream, French macaron, cinnamon Palmier biscuit and luxury fairtrade tea.

For customers wanting a little bit more of that M&S sparkle, they can add a mini bottle of Conte Priuli Oro Prosecco for £5.
