Morrisons Valentine’s Day meal costs either £15 or £17

Customers can kick things off with a baked camembert tear and share bread or vegan mushroom pate.

For mains, lovebirds could select rump steaks with peppercorn butters, a spaghetti carbonara or coq au vin.

They’ve then got the choice of two sides which could be cauliflower cheese or perhaps dauphinoise potatoes.

If you’ve still got room left, then couple could choose from a selection of sweet treats including mango and passionfruit cheesecake or raspberry panna cotta.

The deal for two includes three courses in total – one starter, one main, two sides and two desserts.

The meals also come with a soft drink or wine.

It costs £15 for those with a My Morrisons card or £17 for those without one.

This will save them roughly £20 as opposed to buying the items on their own.

Of course, this depends on the items you choose as their standalone price differs.

For example, the camembert (£4.99), the beef wellington (£11), the best greens (£2.75), garlic bread sticks (£2), zillionaires cheesecake (£3.55), panna cotta (£3.50) and a bottle of prosecco (£8.50) comes to total of £36.29.

This means someone without a My Morrisons card could save £19.29 by buying these products as a Valentine’s Day meal deal.

Shoppers with a My Morrisons card could save more depending on the discounts available via the rewards scheme.

The deal is available in store and online from February 8 to February 14.

You can find your local store by using the locator tool on the Morrisons website.
