IF you’re hoping to do some grocery shopping on your bank holiday day off, Morrisons will be open.
Opening times can be affected by the May bank holiday but we have everything you need to know about opening times.
When is Morrisons open over the early May Bank Holiday?
The brilliance of bank holidays is that Monday lie-in and a relaxing day off, hopefully with a barbeque if the weather holds up.
However, some Morrisons employees will be working so you can stock up on all your food needs this weekend.
Morrisons stores usually open from around 6am to 11pm on a typical weekday or Saturday.
On Monday (May 2) the stores will likely be operating at reduced hours from 7am to 8pm, although this might vary depending on the store.
Over the rest of the weekend, hours will be normal with Sunday trading hours mean that the stores are open from 10am to 4pm on May 1.
You can use Morrisons’ locator tool to find out where your nearest store is and what hours they will be open on Monday.
Is Morrisons doing delivery over the Bank Holiday?
Morrisons is providing delivery for shoppers over the Bank Holiday weekend and prices range from £2.50 to £6 for a slot.
You can get your shopping to arrive at your door on Sunday and Monday this weekend but the prices change depending on what time of the day you schedule your delivery for.

For example if you opt for a late evening delivery slot you might only have to pay £2.50 on Monday but around midday on the bank holiday it’s going to cost £5.
There are some slots left but they available on a first come first served basis so you’ll have to be quick to snap one up and if you’re lucky you might be able to nab one same day too.
If you can’t find a slot or you just want to save on costs then click and collect is free to use too.
