MILLIONS of Brits have been warned to check for a hidden photo folder – before Google deletes your old memories forever tomorrow.
The tech giant sent an email last week warning customers that it is shutting down its Album Archive.

If you want to keep the snaps in your Album Archive, you need to back up your data before the deadline tomorrow.
To check which old memories you risk losing, head to the Album Archive website.
You will be given the option to export the pics through Google Takeout – either by downloading them to your computer or phone or by uploading them to the cloud.
Album Archive does not have anything to do with Google Photos, where most of the snaps on your phone are stored.
It is actually the store for pics sent on Google Hangouts, the company’s flop messaging app, and Google+, its turkey social network.
Google said: “Google Album Archive is a web gallery provided by Google that lets you view and manage photo and video content from a number of Google products and services.
“This includes former Google products such as Hangouts and Picasa Web Albums.
“Starting from 19 July 2023, the Google Album Archive will not be available and content that’s only available in Album Archive will be deleted.

“Until then, if you have content that you want to save, download a copy with Google Takeout.
“Most Google Hangouts images and videos are still available and were migrated to Google Chat.
“Content that’s only available in Album Archive will be deleted starting on 19 July 2023.”
It comes as billions of Google Chrome users have been warned to be on their guard – after the browser removed a useful security warning.
