But there are new stations launching to fill their place.

And another bunch of channels have also undergone a revamp too.

Freeview has alerted users that three stations will no longer be available on the service – though one of them has just been a holding page for months as the channel has already closed down.

That station is 203, which used to be the home of CITV.

The kids’ channel was taken off air by ITV in September.

Other channels to go include Vision TV on 261 and Arise News on 262.

But a pair of replacements have launched to fill the gap.

Among them is Moochi, which shows programmes for pre-school children.

You can find it on number 213.

And on 291 you’ll now find TV Extra, a streamed portal with services such as Create & Craft and Talking Picture’s Encore portal.

A number of channels have also undergone rebrands recently, though much of their content remains the same.

CBS Reality on Freeview channel 67 is now simply known as True Crime.

RealityXtra, on 68, is now True Crime Xtra.

And HorrorXtra, on 69, has been changed to Legend Xtra.

For those who live in Manchester, That’s 80s which was on channel 80 has gone all festive and temporarily rebranded to Best Xmas Music.

Elsewhere, streamed channel Asharq News on 272 is now MBC.

Freeview says viewers will need to retune their TV or box to update their channel lists.
