YOU may notice something a little different when you switch on your TV today.
Samsung has just released a makeover to its free bonus telly offering.
Samsung TV Plus features hundreds of extra channels available at no extra cost.
The channels are available over Wi-Fi instead of traditional Freeview or a Sky box.
Among the changes is a brand new kids tab, which viewers in the UK and US will find on the service from today.
It puts all the free shows and movies suitable for all the family in one convenient place.

There’s also a handy music tab – though this is exclusive to the US, Australia and New Zealand at the moment.
As part of the shake-up, Samsung has introduced a redesigned user interface aimed at making it easier to find your favourite shows.
Newly added categories on the left side of the home screen include sections such as Live TV, Movies/TV Shows, Music, Kids and Settings.
More Like This is a fresh addition that shows content suggestions based on what you’ve previously watched.

The move comes as Samsung reports a huge rise in people turning on Samsung TV Plus amid ever-increasing fees from the likes of Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime.
“Over the past year, we have witnessed a 60% increase in global viewing time on Samsung TV Plus — a testament to the platform’s expansive content library and user-friendly design,” said Yonghoon Choi, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.
“We will continue to evolve and enhance our services to provide a more intuitive and enjoyable viewing experience for our users.”
The new update is available to all Samsung smart TVs that were released in 2019 or later.
