High Street tycoon Mike Ashley is reportedly plotting a takeover of Savile Row tailor Gieves & Hawkes.
Ashley’s Frasers Group is one of a handful of bidders vying for control, according to Sky News.

Gieves & Hawkes, which can be traced back to 1771, is up for sale after its Hong Kong-based owner Trinity Group collapsed last year.
The company has dressed royalty including the new King Charles III and the late Queen as well as major figures from Lord Nelson to Sir Winston Churchill.
In June, Frasers snapped up online fashion retailer Missguided for £20m.
Revised bids for Gieves & Hawkes are expected to be lodged this week.
