The Jalapeno Popper chicken sandwich (499cals) contains a spicy chicken fillet topped with six slices of jalapenos and is complemented by smooth cream cheese to cool you down after taking the heat.

As if that was not enough, also included are three strips of Wendy’s much-loved applewood smoked bacon, warm cheddar cheese sauce and shredded cheddar cheese all placed in a toasted bun.

Wendy’s latest chicken addition will sit alongside the classic chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich that are already big hits on the menu.

Hungry customers can pair any of Wendy’s signature sandwiches with topped fries.

So if you still haven’t had enough heat, you can dial it up even more with the new Jalapeno Baconator fries.

The fries are Wendy’s natural cut, skin-on, sea-salt fries with a spicy twist.

They are topped with a warm, creamy cheese sauce, shredded cheddar and crispy applewood smoked bacon and slices of Jalapeno.

You can take a look at Wendy’s Instagram page if you would like to see how the spicy creation is made.
