MCDONALD’S is revamping its menu TODAY – launching a host of new meals, including FOUR new burgers, in time for summer.

But its bad news for fans of the popular McSpicy, Grand Big Mac, and more, as several favourites are AXED to make way for the newbies.

The chain has created four different burgers this year, which will hit UK menus in the coming weeks.

They’re not all launching today, but fans will be able to tuck into two this month, along with a host of other tasty treats.

The Sun’s Emily Downes even got a sneak peak of what’s being served up from this lunchtime, and gives the low down on all the new flavours.

Maccies fans will also be able to enjoy halloumi fries for the first time later in the summer, as the popular snack graces the fast-food giant’s serving platters.

Rivals like Burger King have served up the cheesy side in the past, but the famous golden arches hasn’t trialled the dish before.

For those who prefer a sweet treat, a new McFlurry flavour can be tried from today as well.

And you’ll soon be able to get a fruity punch drink to wash it all down with.

McDonald’s is releasing its new menu items in two waves – the first beginning today.

Both of its new menus have a “summer holiday” theme, reminding Brits of the great tastes of cultures abroad – all from the comfort of their local restaurant.

As of today, Wednesday June 8, McDonald’s fans can try the Taste of Italy Summer Menu.

In this first menu, fans will be able to sample the new Italian Stack and the Crispy Chicken Italiano.

The Italian Stack burger is made up of two beef patties, mozzarella, crispy onions, a rich tomato sauce, lettuce and a smooth cheese sauce all served within a freshly toasted tomato and herb style bun.

The Crispy Chicken Italiano is one for chicken lovers, with a crispy fillet topped by a juicy tomato slice, mozzarella, a basil pesto style sauce, red onion and lettuce, and served up in a toasted ciabatta-style bun.

Each of the burgers will cost fans £5.39, though prices can vary by location.

A new tiramisu flavour McFlurry is on offer too, giving fans a chocolatey, caffeinated kick as a sweet treat to follow their burger.

They’ll be able to buy the creamy ice cream in two sizes – costing £1.19 for a mini or £1.69 for a regular.

And mozzarella dippers make a much anticipated return to the menu on the same day.

You’ll be able to buy them for £1.99 in a single bag or £5.39 for a bigger sharebox.

The menu will run from today all the way through to July 26.

Then, next month, Maccies fans will be able to try the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu, which will take the place of the first.

It will hit stores on July 27, bringing with it the Spicy Spanish Stack and Chicken Fiesta burgers.

The Spicy Spanish Stack has two beef patties, chilli cheddar, red onion, spicy tomato sauce and lettuce served up in a warm paprika bun.

The Chicken Fiesta comes with a crispy chicken fillet topped
with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce
in its own warm toasted chilli and paprika topped bun.

The burgers will cost the same as the first two – setting fans back £5.39 each.

The launch of the July menu will also see the arrival the brand new halloumi fries side.

At £2.49, the cheesy extra will come in a bag of four, each coated in a light batter, and served with a rich tomato dip.

You’ll also be able to tuck into a sharebox for the price of £6.49.

Finally, fans will also be able to sip on McDonald’s new Spanish Fruit Punch, a chilled soft drink with berry and citrus flavours.

At £2.29 for a medium or £2.61 for a large, it’s the perfect way to top of your fast food feast.

Here’s everything that’s coming:

From today

Fans will be able to tuck into:

  •  The Italian Stack – £5.39
  • The Crispy Chicken Italiano – £5.39
