From today, fans of the fast food giant will be able to dunk their chips in new chipotle mayo and creamy ranch dips.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement at trying the new chipotle mayo and creamy ranch dips.

One Twitter user said: “Looking forward to some nugs with chipotle soon, for real.”

While another wrote: “My dreams have been answered.”

And a third added: “I will deffo be trying them.”

But the new dips won’t be around forever, and you only have a limited time to give them a try.

It comes as both the mega hot sauce and the garlic mayo dips were removed after just three weeks on UK menus.

They hit menus earlier this month as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for McNuggets and were only ever going to be around for a short time.

But Maccies fans have taken to social media in recent weeks begging the chain to keep the sauces as permanent fixtures.

One wrote: “Hey McDonalds UK please keep the mega hot sauce as a permanent option. It’s soo good.”

Another said: “Mcds gotta keep both the garlic mayo and mega hot sauce on the menu.”

A third Tweeted: “Please never remove the mega hot sauce, it’s perfect spice for a Maccas.”

But it’s not all bad news as diners will be able to give the brand new chipotle and range dips a try from today.

Meanwhile, other new menu items, including the Spicy Big Tasty, halloumi fries and Wispa McFlurry will be coming off the menu on June 20.

The items were only ever meant to stick around for a limited period as part of the regular McDonald’s menu shakeup.

It means that more new or returning items will likely hit menus soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

How can I save on my McDonald’s order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald’s.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants – so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app – it’s free to download and you’ll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you’ll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.
