To get the discount, you’ll need to download and sign up to the My McDonald’s app.

It’s free to download from Google Play or the App Store and you will need to log in or register an account if you haven’t already got one.

The offer is open to new and existing app users – all you have to do is head to the latest deals section and select the offer.

Then you’ll need to place your order through the app and the discount will be applied when you get to the checkout.

You can only use the discount once though and the offer ends at midnight.

There are a handful of its 1,300 who won’t be running the offer either. These are outlined in the box above.

McDonald’s has reopened some of its restaurants in England for outdoor dining in line with Government guidelines.

But as food outlets are only able to offer table service, McDonald’s requires diners to order through the app.

Alternatively, customers can collect their food for takeaway, drive-thru, click and serve or McDelivery.

You can find your nearest McDonald’s branch using the free locator tool.

This week, Maccies added five new items to the menu, including the Chicken Deluxe and Bacon Clubhouse Double burger.

The new additions replaced five other McDonald’s menu items, including two versions of the Big Tasty and the Chicken BBQ Smokehouse.

The fast food chain also axed the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry and the Cadbury Caramel McFlurry from May 4.
