MCDONALD’S is offering customers the chance to claim 20% off ANYTHING from its menu from tomorrow.

Fast food fans are able to bag the money-off when they order via the My McDonald’s app – but the discount only lasts until the weekend.

McDonald’s wants to kick of the new month with a bang so the mega savings begin right out the gate, on February 1.

The discount is designed to keep customers saving on their favourite drinks and snacks, despite McDonald’s Week of Deals ending and all the bargains of January being officially over.

Sadly, it doesn’t work for long – there’s just under a week to claim.

The offer is valid from 12am on Tuesday this week, but it ends just before midnight again on Sunday, February 6, so you’ll have to be quick to cash in.

The good news is that everything on the McDonald’s menu is up for grabs under the offer, so foodies can pick up all their favourites like the classic Big Mac or McNuggets at just a fraction of their usual price.

Normally the burger, a menu staple and fan favourite, can cost around £3.49 so the discount means hungry mouths can take a bite for £2.80 instead.

A sharebox of the chicken nuggets classic can costs around £4.99 too, so bargain hunters can save £1 on the price if they cash in on the discount as well.

There are a couple of steps you have to follow to redeem the money-off though, so here’s how you can get the 20% off.

How to claim 20% off

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have the My McDonald’s app downloaded.

It’s free on the App store or Google play store.

From tomorrow, users will find the 20% off offer appear in the deals section of their app, and all you have to do is apply it at the checkout when placing an order.

That means it only works for pick-up orders though.

You can’t use the discount when you place an order in person – whether that be from your car window at the drive-thru, or over the counter in a branch, or on one of the virtual screens.

It also won’t work for home delivery orders placed via Uber Eats and more.

Use McDonald’s restaurant locator to find out where your closest branch for collection is – but remember that some items on the menu can be subject to availability.

You have from tomorrow until Sunday to claim but you can only redeem the discount the once.

That means if you do use the offer straight away, you won’t be able to claim the money-off again before the time runs out.

You also have to keep in mind that the discount can’t be doubled up with any other offers you might have in your deals section on the app.

It only works on its own, so it’s a good idea to make sure you have everything you want discounted in your basket before you checkout.
