MCDONALD’S has reinvented the Big Mac adding a twist to the classic burger.
The new menu item features two chicken pieces instead of beef patties – and fast food fans are all saying the same thing about the new creation.

The limited edition McDonald’s chicken Big Mac hit restaurants this week and customers have been eager to give it a go.
Our reviewer who got a sneak peek of the newest Maccies meal before anyone else said it was like eating cheesy nuggets.
But other diners who’ve given it a go have identified a bit of an issue with it.
Swapping each beef patty for chicken has threatened the structural integrity of the whole burger.
In short, it’s a bit messy to eat compared to a beef burger Big Mac.
“Had to try it … The Chicken Big Mac. It doesn’t really look like it’s picture and it’s incredibly messy to eat but would probably have again,” said one diner.

Another said: “It’s messy, as the chicken is a bit smaller than the beef burgers but I can confirm good tastiness, even if it’ll never reach the heights of the OG.
And a third said: “I’d give it a 6.5 out of 10… Messy, not sure on the big mac sauce combo with chicken and pickles and chicken do NOT go haha.”
Meanwhile one TikTok user has shared the best way to eat the chicken Big Mac.
User @lauralouxox’s video has gained more than half a million views and thousands of likes.
In it she’s seen taking off the top sesame seed covered bun of the burger (there are three in total).
She then takes the top chicken piece and the second bun layer underneath and turns them over.
This essentially make it into a normal burger, containing two chicken pieces piled on top of each other and no middle layer.
Despite the messiness the new burger has still gained fans, with several giving it 10 out of 10 after tasting.
“Chicken Big Mac 10/10 worth the wait,” said one fan.
Another said “10/10 stunning” and a third said “Chicken Big Mac is the best burger McDonald’s have ever made don’t @ me”.
But others have found it doesn’t quite hit the spot.
“Ok but wouldn’t want it again” was one woman’s verdict and another branded it “horrible”.
You can give the burger a go yourself at McDonald’s 1,300 stores in the UK.
It costs around £4.09 for just the burger, or £5.59 as part of a meal, which includes chips and a drink, though costs can vary depending on your location.
You can find your nearest McDonald’s store using the fast food chain’s locator tool, just pop in your postcode.
You can get it in stores, or order online for home delivery, via the MyMcDonald’s App, Just Eat or Uber Eats.
But remember you’ll pay for delivery costs on top if you get it to your door.
You’ll also need to be quick to get your hands on the chicken Big Mac.
It’s only on the menu for a limited time up to March 15.
